Before you call, it helps to know
None of this is required, and if you are dealing with an active leak, call first and work it out afterwards. But if you have a moment, these details let us bring the right equipment on the first visit.
- Roughly when you first noticed the problem, and whether anything happened just before — a storm, a burst line, an appliance failure
- Which rooms or areas are affected, and whether it is on a wall, a ceiling, a floor or below grade
- Whether there is still water present or whether the area has dried out
- Whether the property is on a crawl space, a basement or a slab
- Whether anyone in the household has a respiratory condition we should plan containment around
- Whether you intend to open an insurance claim, so we document from the first visit accordingly
If you have an active leak right now
Isolate the water at the valve if you can reach one safely. Keep people out of the affected area so contamination is not tracked through the rest of the property. Leave the HVAC system off — running it moves spores through every room it serves. Then call us.
What we cover
Residential and commercial property throughout Marietta, across all 27 neighborhoods we list, and the wider Cobb County area. Every one of our 20 mold remediation services is available across that whole coverage area, with the same protocol and the same pricing structure.
Contact questions
What should I do before you arrive?
Stop the water if there is an isolation valve you can reach safely. Keep foot traffic out of the affected area so contamination is not tracked through the property. Leave the HVAC system off, because running it distributes spores through every room it serves. Do not start cutting or cleaning — disturbing colonised material without containment makes the project larger.
How quickly can someone get to my property?
We respond across Marietta and Cobb County around the clock. When you call we will give you a realistic arrival window rather than a stock answer, and we will talk you through what to do in the meantime to limit further damage.
What happens on the first visit?
We walk the affected areas, take moisture content readings on affected and unaffected materials, scan for concealed moisture, identify the likely water source and give you a written scope of work with a firm figure. That visit is free and there is no obligation to proceed.
Do you handle commercial property as well as homes?
Yes. We work on residential property, commercial tenancies, retail and office space, and multi-unit buildings. Commercial projects are usually sequenced around operating hours and we will plan the phasing with you before anything starts.
